FAQs
Are children invited to the wedding?
Regrettably, children are not invited to the wedding day. However, we would love for your children to be part of the festivities, so they are invited to the Welcome Drinks on Thursday, July 3rd, and the Recovery Pool Party on Sunday, July 6th.
Will you be providing a creche on the Wedding Day?
A creche won’t be provided however we have compiled a list of nanny services in the area, provided below. With many families attending with young children, we suggest coordinating with other guests to book together.
You can find Nanny services here.
Is there a wedding gift list?
Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for. But if you do wish to give something, a contribution to our honeymoon fund would be warmly appreciated as we plan a special trip together after the wedding.
There will be a Wishing Well at the wedding venue for any lovely cards and small gifts, otherwise a contribution to https://revolut.me/fergusmansfield is so kind.
What are the timings of events on the wedding day?
Wedding Day - Saturday 5th July at Villa di Ulignano
Guests arrival - 4:30pm
Ceremony start - 5pm
Aperitif - 5:30pm
Dinner - 7:00pm
Party - 10:30pm
Send off - 3am
Will I need a car?
We highly recommend either renting a car or coordinating with other guests who have rented one. Villa di Ulignano and Volterra are located in rural Italy, where uber isn’t available and taxis are very limited. Volterra is approximately 1.5 hours from any airport, so renting a car from the airport for the week is advisable. If renting a car is not an option for you, we have a list of private car services available:
You can find transfer services here (Florence) and here (Pisa).
Is there parking at the Wedding Venue?
Parking will be available at the venue and will be clearly marked on the day. However, we encourage you to use the coach services provided to ensure the event runs smoothly.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
Attire: Formal
Ladies, please wear full length dresses, with no limits on vibrant colours. Gentlemen, we kindly request you wear suits; considering the warm weather, linen suits are highly recommended for comfort. Victoria requests that men wear ties, while Ferg is more relaxed, take the gamble if you want.
Will transportation be provided?
Yes, we will provide shuttles on the wedding day from several designated locations (to be confirmed) to and from the wedding venue.
If these shuttles are not suitable for you, a private car/taxi service will also be available at this link.
